Came Out Infront Of The Whole College Freshmen Class

    So, 5 of us got the chance to make a speech regarding who we are today & I admitted to my college that I am gay.

    As my mother & other family members may not know I felt this was one of the biggest steps I'll ever take in my life. The feeling was beautiful.

    Wow, you have no idea how much respect I have for what you just did. Just the thought of public speaking terrifies me, but to do so when you weren't required and put yourself in such a vulnerable position by sharing something so personal? That takes major guts. Congrats!

    Congratulations! It's awesome that you felt comfortable in choosing that moment to come out. I can imagine that it was liberating of having it out there, and not hiding it or feeling the need to keep it a secret. Well done! :slight_smile:

    This is great! Just awesome and inspiring! I can't even imagine the emotions you must have felt when you did it, but I'm sure that the results were amazing. I'm very happy for you man! You should get an award for that :grin:

    Way to go. A great way to start fresh at college plus you get all the awkward conversations out of the way. Of course there is no way I would be able to go through with it even now. Your courage is admirable.
