Coming out plus "The Crucible"- what a day!

    OK, last friday, I was at a rehearsal for "The Crucible", in which I'm playing John Willard, and we were going over the background and the reasons for witch-hunting, and then the director asked us if we ever felt as if we were persecuted.

    ...

    That's right, I said I was gay..out loud. It was awesome! Peopel that i already knew that were in there said "I didn't know you were gay!"
    Overall, there were 35+ people there.
    It was refreshing!

    Shit son, great job. XD I watched the film version of the Crucible in Junior year, and didn't understand a word of it. I blame Winona Ryder; heck, who doesn't?

    I remember when I came out almost a year ago and it is THE most refreshing, awesome feeling to take off the mask. =) Congrats on the great reactions to it, and enjoy the new freedom you have!
