Yesturday I was in a really weird mood and just decided that I should tell my close buddies at school...So I did! My friend Nicole is in my first hour class and we had to watch a freakin' musical (in government...). So I wrote her a note just kinda saying that I'm trans and I'm starting the whole process asap. She was the one I was most nervous about telling, she reacts differently to certain things. But she was cool with it and just asked questions about like the name changing and getting a therapist. She is awesome. Still watching a stupid musical, I decided to write my friends Sarah and Sven to let them know too. They have been joking about it for a while about how I'm going to go to the class reunion and be a full guy and Sarah is still going to call me by my female name. So I just basically said that they were right. Sven started happy-screaming in the hallway "I knew it!" Sarah was sick so I didn't give it to her until today and I don't know what she will actually think. But she's my friend and I hope she doesn't get all weird around me. Just thought that maybe I could help inspire some people. ---Joey
