This isn't actually MY story, it's simply one my mom told me that I thought I should share on Empty Closets. Apparently there was a woman who fell in love, got married, and had kids just like every other "normal" family. But something was a little...off. Turns out this woman wasn't a woman at all; she was a man on the inside, and had only just figured it out by the time her kids had already reached their teen years. When (now) HE told his husband, the response was surprisingly supportive. He accepted it and actually worked to help make his wife-to-husband more comfortable in his skin. From what I know, the former woman is now living as a man and is still happily married. Shouldn't everyone be this supportive? ~Chapter One
