Came out to one of my closest friends - my first sober coming out.

I came out as bisexual/confused to one of my fraternity brothers tonight. A bunch of drunk drama occurred tonight...which included me babysitting one of my friends and a bunch of college freshmen.

Me and him started talking about fraternity drama, and I kinda just randomly told him. He was really accepting of me and then we talked for another hour.


I tried coming out to him last fall and he refused to believe me, but we were both really drunk. Sent me on a long, alcohol-fueled spiral to the bottom. But, like I said...he was really drunk and I was really drunk...he most likely wasn't expecting it.

I've told a few brothers before, but it was alcohol fueled and I took most of those back.

When do you think I should tell my other friends?

 

I've been slowly making the rounds to my close friends and telling them, but I generally haven't had the courage to stick with my coming outs. This is, in many senses, my first or second real coming out.

Hopefully I have enough confidence to tell more of my close friends.
