I did, actually, and it was moderately unintentional. I'm so proud though! It was a media studies class, and we were debating current events (which happened to be about flying the Pride flag at city hall) and people were demanding "Straight Pride." I gave a whole speech about how the gay community "lives in the closet for most of their lives and Pride month, or the parade itself, is the one of the few opportunities that we have to actually come out and be proud of who we are." I'm so proud of myself for doing this ... next step is to come out to my sister.
lol i can't really remember.. one of my friends (who is very much in the closet but bi) was shocked and amazed that I actually did it.. I sit at the front, so I couldn't really see any reactions.. I got lots of kudos from my friends (who know I'm not out really), so I feel really good
I would be terrified to come out to five people at once, certainly not an entire class. My admiration goes out to you.
Well it sounds like your taking the bull by the horns put them on the back foot. (Also sounds like I am mangling metaphors...:la Well done!
