As some of you may know I'm a teacher. I recently showed my colleague a picture of my Halloween costume. She also noticed I went to Provincetown. She also has spoken openly with me about her gay son. We then somehow moved on to transgender issues. Next thing... I'm telling her about me. She said you don't have to tell me but go ahead and set yourself free. She hugged me and well she's like a second mother to me. I feel great that someone knows.
Yea but I'm not out to everyone and she just confirmed my feelings to not come out in any near time frame. But still she hugged me and kissed me on the cheek. I feel great.
Congrats! Even though she did confirm you feelings to not come out soon, that is still one more person that knows. Hopefully with time, it will become more feasible for you to come out more there
