Told Homophobic Dad

    I called him on the phone about something and was telling him a lot of things are bothering me, and he kept insisting that I tell him, so I told him that I'm gay....

    He said "Ok...when did you find out?" and I told him that I came out in July, and then he said "Ok, just remember that I will ALWAYS support you not matter what...always", and said that his homophobic remarks are just for chuckles and that he doesn't really feel that way, and that he'll always love me :slight_smile: .

    Nice job! It would be even nicer if your dad quit using his homophobic words altogether, but this is a pretty good success.
