I did it the other day. Told my same-sex friend that I was gay. She took it surprisingly well and repeated words that are quite wise for someone our age: "You're still the same person." If only every bigot was as nice as my friend. Then they wouldn't be bigots. She said, the only thing she was really worried about was that I might be in love with her. Said I wasn't and never would be :eusa_liar But in the end she has accepted me and we have talked about it a lot. I am lucky to have been accepted like this, after all, the fact that this good friend of mine accepted it means that now I have the courage to come out to my parents.
