...twice today!!! and it was really good! :icon_bigg Both of their reactions were good! The first one was a friend of mine (female) and she didn't believe me at first, she thought I was joking and I had to say like 10 times that I'm gay (which felt good too! ) because she kept saying that I don't look gay at all. And the second one didn't believe me at first, but then she was really cool with it. It felt really weird and a little creepy to say it out loud in person (I'm used to coming out thru messenger or phone) but it also felt good.
I know what you mean, it was hard for me to say it even after I had come out to a few people. Just saying the word gay without being negative doesnt happen too often so it was weird to bring up the subject. Its much easier to type it out because your hands wont stop working but your voice could stop working if you talk in person. I tried telling my mom 5 times before I actually told her because I wanted to talk to her but then I couldnt make the words come out, so neither could I, haha. Congrats on coming out
Yeah, speaking the words "I am gay" out loud for the first time (or two or three) is really hard. I could hardly say it. I'm sure it's not as hard the 4th or 5th time.
That's great! Coming out in person is the hardest. I'm glad that you were able to overcome your fears. Congratulations!
