It's been almost a year since I last came out to someone. But today I told my friend via letter and she hugged me when she saw me later. :icon_bigg Of course, she's in GSA with me so I knew it wouldn't be a risk to tell her, but I'm happy I did it nonetheless. I feel that this is now when I'm truly going to come out, not to a few people and stop. I'm just.. very happy about this, she's an awesome person and I'm just so happy that I built myself up to tell someone who I am. :icon_bigg

Hi there! Congratulations on your accomplishments thus far! Well done!

It is okay if you are not ready to come out to your family just yet. In most cases, it is always easier to come out to friends than it is coming out to family. One thing you could try doing is coming out to your mom and/or dad individually rather than when every one is around the table. That could make things a bit easier on you.

What are your instincts telling you when you think about how they could react?

I guess this is my blog now. xD Told another awesomely accepting friend today. Though I'm not even sure if I'm able to come out face-to-face, I used a letter again. Of course it worked out, but still...
