I am surprised. And so very happy.

So I am part of a video game fan group on Facebook. It has over 2000 members, and I have been for there for a while. Just the other day I decided to make a coming out post and changed my name and requested they refer to me by female pronouns from then on. With that many members, I "knew" I would get some transphobic comments. But I had confidence the group was good enough that they would be greatly overshadowed by positive, accepting comments.

I was wrong. Over 60 likes. Over 20 comments. Every single one was super positive and supportive. Not a single negative comment. That made me so very happy, I just had to share.
