I have been wrestling with my gender identity for awhile now. The most aggravating part was the trials of figuring out what term I fell under. I finally found one..trans-lesbian. I came out to my friend today and she was so supportive. what a couple weeks! I am exhausted from all the searching and wanting to figure out what I was! anyway i did it!
Congratulations on coming out to your friend. Glad that she is supportive and accepting. Given that you have struggled with defining your sexual identity, have you had the chance to speak with a few members of the LGBT community who have gone through a similar process? If you haven't and if you can maybe this is something you could look into. Talking with others about your orientation and your feelings could help you as well. Congrats again! Way to go!
