As I promised in a different thread over the weekend, I came out to my sister, although two days later than planned. I decided the best way to go about it was to write a letter. So, I sat down and typed it out and left it in her room for her to find when she got home from school. Half an hour or so ago she came up to me and said she had read it. She said that she had already figured it out(somehow I'm not surprised), and that it didn't matter to her I trained her well I'm so glad I did it! I can already tell she is going to be the most supportive person in my family. I'm also considering telling my dad that it would be OK for him to tell my grandma, but I'm still undecided on that.
It's always good to hear a happy coming out story. It's amazing when people fully understand. I'm really happy for you. Best wishes!
Congratulations - I am very pleased for you!! You are lucky to have such a good sister!!! I hope the rest of your family take it well also! At least you know you have one person for support!!! Take care!
Congratulations on coming out to your sister! I'm glad that it went well. Ever since I came out to my sister she has become quite the activist and supportive of all kinds of GLBT causes. Never saw this one coming, but it is actually really nice to be able to share with her part of my life. Hopefully you can do the same.
