Well, actually I'm out to two more people. haha, so today I got an IM from a friend from high school (not a really close friend). I haven't spoken to him since graduation. In High school, I was completely closeted, not cause I was confused, or afraid, but because I didn't think my sexual orientation was anyone's business but my own. ...anyway... So I got the IM's...I'm just going to post the transcript (just the important stuff, no filler haha): Me (9:14:39 PM):so what else is good? I'm gay Him (9:21:55 PM):we knew (him and his friend Kelly who was also with him) Him (9:21:57 PM):recently Him (9:22:00 PM):welcome Him (9:22:01 PM):lol I must say I've been wanting to come out to someone from High School for a while now, and while he wasn't my first choice, it went well. And it felt great, like being on a roller-coaster! haha. One down, and 6.8 Billion to go! haha(!)
Congrats on coming out to someone from highschool. Younger people seem to be getting the hang of this diversity thing making it much easier. People now know how hard and emotional this time is. (*hug*)Glad for you

Idk if you were making a general statement there, or if you were making a reference to my situation, but I just wanted to point out that I'm older than you :lol:...but I get what ur saying Thanks, It is a bit easier than coming out in person, but I think I'd prefer to come out in person to some... I did forget to mention that my friend is gay, so I knew he would take it well...but it was still a bit nerve racking to say the least.

I say just do it the way you want to...I've learned there's no real right way to do it I've done it twice through IM, once through email, and once in person.
Wow, that turned out well, most of my old school mates don't know I am gay yet, so I don't know how they would react if they found out.
