    I did it.

The only thing I can say is:
If you want the upmost support, love and anything that can go fantastic during a coming out, you need my mom.

She said what ever makes me happy and a good person at the end of the day matters...
The only thing she said she was sad about was that she would not get grandkids, I said what about my brother? The I said yeah, but they won't be pretty. Then we both laughed.

She also pointed out that I was her flesh and blood and that she will always love me.

Fantastic, great first person to come out too.

The only thing that bugs me is that I feel like "OMJ, what did I just do? I can't believe I just did that."

It's exhausting, huh! I love the positive coming out stories. I think, that most here,
who've come out, know how hard that is! I came out at 16. I think that the younger you come out, the less you'll be believed. ( the phase thing.) Glad you didn't go thru this.
I'm not saying any age is easier, but when you're young,it seems you have so much to lose.
I applaud you & your awesome mom! Reading your post was a nice way to end the night.

You have a great mother. Remember that she might still be a little tender for some time, even if she is supporting you. I hope you appreciate her and take good care of her.

Ahhh............she sounds awesome! Like Peter said, she still may have some concerns. Tell her if she wants to talk to another parent of a gay child, she can e-mail me. You can PM me for my address.
