yup. so the other day i came out to my mom. she is an artist, does woodworks, and we where at a flea market type thing where she was selling her stuff. we got their early and where eating breakfast and i just kinda asked "What do you think of gay people?" Mom: Why? Me: just wondering Mom: i don't have anything against them. Me: oh thats good, cuz i am kinda attracted to guys Mom: Your gay? Me: yah. Mom: cool, i was kinda expecting it for a few years now Me: orly? Mom: yup Me: Sweet then a few days later my sister came down to hang with the family for my younger sisters birthday. she started joking around and said "David, why don't you just tell her, im sure mom won't care that your gay." i laughed and then got all quiet, she went outside and my grandma starts to try and explain the joke cuz my mom had a really wierd look on her face. when she finished my mom looked at me expectingly, took a minute but i took the hint and said. " You know whats funny though? I am." exact same reaction as my mom. EXACT. now i have to worry about telling my very homophobic dad:help:
Ooh! It's great that they took it so well congratulations! The dad bit may be hard, but seeing as your mum expects it's possible he does too.
You're mom sounds pretty awesome! It took a lot of courage to tell her and it's refreshing how well she took it. Not everyone is so lucky, but I'm glad you are. If your mom suspected already, maybe your dad does, too. At any rate, good luck. I think it'll go fine.
Good luck telling your dad! Make sure you come back and let us know how it went with him!! Best of luck!
That's wonderful that your mom took it so well. Congratulations! Now that you are out to your mom, maybe you could ask your mom for a bit of help when it comes to coming out to your dad. I hope it goes well for you.
