We moved into our house on Friday and had the movers set everything up, and because they did it so fast we were able to drive to North Carolina early this morning to see our friends (I'm on my laptop). After we all sat around and talked for a few hours, I pulled Mike aside and told him I was Gay!!!!!!!!! I played it cool like you guys said I should and reminded him of all the times I defended him against the people who said he was gay and he was totally cool with it. I'm so happy that it worked out with him because he's been my friend for so long. Now I just got to work on my family, but they're still going to have to wait a few weeks.

Congradulations...I am so happy for you and that he was cool with it! I must say though, he accepted you because he got to know you for the person you are and that allowed him to see that gay people are not the monsters Society makes us out to be. I am also glad that you now have someone to talk to when things get too stressful to deal with. Thanks everyone! It's a big weight off my shoulders now that someone finally knows. I know what you're talking about Thommthomm, I got in a huge fight with my Dad the other day and I felt like telling him out of spite, but I kept my cool:dry:.
That was not easy, I'm sure, but hang in there and enjoy the the fact that your best friend knows that you're gay and still accepts you anyway. He seems to be one very special friend...congradualtions on that!!(&&&)
