I came out to my mother as trans.

I sent her a message on Facebook and laid it all out for her, she said she'll do the best to process the information I shared with her, told me it was courageous for me to confess my feelings with her, and that she'll always love me; even if she isn't brave enough to admit her feelings about it yet.

It appears to have gone well for all intents and purposes, but I got to wait for the after-talk I guess.
