where did you come out?

The first place I came out was sitting in the back seat of a 46A bus from my college to the city centre, while talking to my best friend. I haven't really come out in any original or interesting ways.

 

i came out online via email to my mom. i'm working on comeing out to my siblings.

 

I came out at my friends party playing truth or dare.

 

First time I came out in person... I was at the discovery museum, it's a place where kids can go for a safe place to hang out, I was volunteering there with a friend, who was an out Lesbian. Afterwards, everyone was left, and we were sitting on the curb outside waiting for our rides, and the topic came to religion, then sexuality, and she asked me what I was, and I said "Guess." And she's like "I dunno, gay?" And I nodded, and she was like "YES!" As our group had a lot of lesbians, bi girls, one bi guy, and no gay guys, so she was excited for some reason (That was the reason she said she screamed YES! XD)

The only other time I came out in person was at the local arts festival, was with my best friend at the time, and the bi guy. Bi guy kept making jokes about his gaydar being perfect, and "Nope, no gay guys here" remarks. Then eventually me and my best friend couldnt handle it and started laughing, but neither of us could stop laughing long enought to tell him. He figured it out 30 minutes later

Ummm...I came out online....and by letter. That's actually about it. I came out at camp to some kitchen staff friends....

I'm afraid to drink too much as I probably will end up letting it slip when I'm not ready.

well the first time i came out as gay (i had wavered between bi and straight for awhile) which is what i really consider my first coming out was to my best friend sammy and i was laying on a picnic table in a garden. wow kinda random

Last summer, I came out to my dad in a McDonald's in Houston. It was....interesting. I kept thinking someone was going to walk in that I knew from my childhood, because this was in my old neighborhood. I also did a quick coming out to my aunt on a porch. It was funny.

 

All my coming outs have strangely all been in coffee shops or cafes! Sit down order a coffee and then those words; Ive got something to tell you.........
