So today my aunt and uncle took me out for lunch and we started talking about my mom. Every time we get together it basically turns into a huge bitchfest about her. Nobody in my family really likes her. Eventually the topic of homosexuality came up and I just decided to let my aunt know where I stand. She took it amazingly well. Said that my whole family has suspected it forever (dad before he passed away, grandparents, mom) but weren't too sure. She says that her and my grandma are for sure okay with it, but not my mom. See my mom knows deep down that I'm bi, but she just doesn't want me confirming it. She's "disgusted" by it. But anyway, my aunt's totally cool with it and supportive of me. So I'm really glad she finally knows because we've always been very close. (!)
That's great!!! I'm sure this confirmation will also non-directly help the situation with you mom... It's great that you have the majority of your family to support you!

im glad you feel supported. i feel the same way, i came out to my grandma and shes really helpful to me. my mum has the same veiws.
