I told my older brother that I'm going on a date with a girl today. I explained that I didn't know whether I was bi or lesbian yet, but I know that I like girls. He was really accepting and sweet just like I thought he would be, but it was still really emotional and a great relief. I'm taking baby steps to coming out. Accepting myself is the same way. I'm having to break down the barriers inside of me that I didn't even know existed. But today was a good day!
