It has been an interesting journey since August/September when the patient in the ER called me out. I'm out completely now. There isn't anyone that either doesn't know or needs to know, anyway. I've jumped right in to the community nearest me and participate weekly in a Men's Discussion group at the local Gay & Lesbian Center, and recently joined the local Gay Men's Chorus. It is great be fully accepted as who I am, no questions, no justification required, no odd looks or comments! If only the rest of society would be as accepting. I am so much more self-assured and confident than I've ever been. I pick my battles carefully and chose not to respond to my ex-wife's comments...she unfortunately is in total denial, but time should let her heal. Thanks to everyone who participated in my earlier posts and discussions. I've learned alot and value the relationships I've made with folks on this forum. Tim
Good for you,Tim. It's great to feel comfortable,in your own skin. I think EC is the best place on the whole internet. It helps so many people and it's just a fun place to be.
Thats GREAT Tim! Thanks for all your helpful words over the past while ive been on the site, and im really happy for you!
That's wonderful Tim! Glad that you are yourself and are participating in the LGBT community. It's great isn't it? I am hoping that your wife will come around to it and accept you for who you are as well. Yes, time often is a great healer. (*hug*)
