I wrote the email I am going to send. I have someone going to proofread it for me. Then, I am going to have to hit send. Excited :eusa_danc and Scared :tears: and Stunned :eek: and now :sleep:

sounds cool. i'd love to tell my family on my dad's side from myself (i'm not sure who he told..)

 

You should try to bump this back a week. So more people can read it and maybe it will be something that could really happen.

Well you might have heard this or you may have not.

I don't really know how to put this but if you don't agree and no longer want to talk to me, that is fine, but i would rather have it that way than live a lie.

Well here's the secret: I'm gay. yes i like girls. no i'm not Bi. no it's not a phase. no, no one turned me this way, i was born this way. and yes i am proud. I don't care if you think it's a sin. God loves me no matter what you say. And being God created, how can i be wrong? don't start steortyping me. i'm still Morgan, your niece, granddaughter, friend, cousin, goddaughter, whatever.

I'm not going to let it limit who i am. i am going to live my life to the fullest.

A few of us on the forum have a pressing person we are wanting to tell. None of us seem to be able to do it on our own. So, we decided to try it together. One of the people needed to do it today, so we all decided. Kind of one of those on the spot decisions made with talking in the chat room.

 

OMG i decide today im not going to let people assume that im am str8 if anyone ask me a bout a GF or who im dating im just going to say im Gay and still looking =)

 

Good plan. That would be an awesome place for me to get to in my own life.

I'd like to wish everybody good luck today! I'm coming out to one of my closest friends tonight, close to midnight EST...I'm really scared, but I'm going to do it! Thank you all so much for doing this on the same day! It really helps knowing that others are coming out too! Good luck, everyone!

 

I did it! I did it! I hit the send key! It may be a good thing, I may regret it, either way it's done. Now, I can go throw up in peace. I think checking my email, answering my phone, and look at text messages are going to be quite the challenge for a bit. She may not respond, she may respond just out of politeness, or she may be supportive. Hope it is the latter - think it will be the middle. She sometimes comes across so laissez-faire that I can't read her. Oh my gosh - I did it.
