Hi to anyone from OSH who i've sent this link to.

I HAVE SENT YOU THIS LINK IN CONFIDENCE IN THE FACT THAT YOU WILL KEEP IT TO YOURSELF UNTI I AM READY TO TELL WHOEVER I WANT, IT IS HARD ENOUGH TELLING THE PEOPLE I HAVE SENT THE LINK TO, I AM NOT READY FOR EVERYONE KNOWING AT THE MOMENT SO PLEASE KEEP THIS A SECRET WITHIN THE SCHOOL.

Please read the whole of this thread as it has been very hard for me to write this post.

To let anyone know for definate what I'm sure everyone has thought at one point or another "Is Chris M****** gay?"

The answer to that question is yes.

First of all one thing I would like to say is that although some people may believe that gay people are different to everyone else and that they are broken, or retarded, they're not. I am still the same person that you may or may not have liked before and I hope that the fact that I am gay doesn;t change your view on me as a person. If you suddenl do not want to be associated with me as I am gay then fine, let me know and I will stay out of your way as you obviously have such a norrow minded view on life that you can't accept someone for who they are but are guided by their sexual preference

Me being gay doesnt mean that I want to be the so called stereotypical gay guy for example, sorry if I cause offence, Charlie ****. I am still the same person.

Just to answer a couple of quiestions that you might want answered so I dont have to tell everyone individually...

Q : How long have you known?
A : I dont know, I have been trying to hide it from myself for so long I had persuaded myself that I wasn't

Q : Why have you been saying that you weren't for so long?
A : I didn't even know for sure myself until recently, again, I have been hiding it for so long

Q : Did you actually mean to download "Age of Empires"
A : No, not that time. I have on another occasion to make sure that I was and it wasnt just a phase.

As a final note. As i am gay it does not mean that I want to screw every boy that I see, the same as you may not want to screw every girl that you see so dont come up to me and ask me if I think your fit or if I would screw you just for a laugh and a joke.

Thanks for reading this post and please dont let this change your views on me as a person.

That's great Chris! Please let us know how they react.

By the way, I removed your last name so those you don't want to know won't find this with a Google search of your name.

Shouldn't you guys have "no google indexing" set for the individual threads in the forum anyway? Obviously having the main page be indexable makes sense but I don't think Google needs to put its big nose into the actual content.

Sorry--related point: you should take out the name of the person he refers to as a stereotypical gay guy.

And then just as a more general point: if you can't say anything nice about someone, don't say it. Especially don't do the whole "I don't mean to be rude/insensitive/mean" excuse because about 99.5% of the time that means exactly that you are being rude/insensitive/mean and giving offense. I'm sure there are many stereotypical gay people and/or characters who could have been used in that example without needing to attack some actual 3rd party. It's especially poor form to slander someone in front of a group of strangers (us, not the original recipients of the message, who I assume know the poor guy you decided to pick on) when that person doesn't even have a chance to defend themselves.

That's another discussion for another thread.

Got it - thanks Joey.

To be honest, I assumed the person named was someone famous that I hadn't heard of....

because then i dont need to save the file onto my hard-drive and having to put it as an attachment. Doing it this way I dont need to save anything onto my hard-drive and I can send the link to a few people over a long time. As other people use the computer, this was the best thing I could think of doing.

For those who are interested in how its going, I've shown the post to 4 close friends and all of them have been fine with it at the moment. There are a few other people that i have shown it to aswell and they've also been fine with it. i wont say any names as they can see this aswell lol.

Thanks for all the interest and support, it has really helped.
