Well today was our marching band training day and our CUO was talking to us about uniform, in particular, hair. He told us we have to have it not covering our ears and out of our eyes, so I flopped my hair to one side and pushed my hair behind my ears. The guy I was sitting next to said " wow that looks really gay". Then I think he felt kind of guilty so he had to ask whether I was gay to which I replied yes. I liked his reaction of shock. 'Twas great but the best thing was that I didn't hesitate at all which kind of surprised me a little but it's really the first time anyone's directly asked me whether I'm gay recently. thats awesome..it seems to me that your becoming more comfortable with it yourself, and thats always a good thing =)
