    so ahhh shorter than my moms which is expected, but here it is

    Hi Dan,

    Mom shared your letter and hers with me and you can rest assured that
    nothing changes between us. You are and will always be special to me. My
    only concern is your well being and happiness. I hope that you will feel
    comfortable in talking to me about your feelings and I regret my poor taste
    in jokes and comments. Had I known how it made you feel, I would never have
    said them. Danny, I truly apologize for any discomfort that I have ever
    caused you.

    Just remember, I love you and am very proud of you..

    That is so awesome of your dad. I love how he apologized for the comments he made. I think you parents and my parents would be neck and neck for parents of the year!

    my mom texted me "letter has been shared and i is unanimous we love you. And Ryan (my little bro) will kick the shit out of any guy that hurts you." lol i dont doubt it.

    i texted back saying i will call tomorrow bc i am emotionally drained and my mom said "have a drink, rest and try to draw strength from us who love you. your journey is no longer solitary." i think i got here gift for writing :slight_smile:
