The last couple of weeks I think I've finally fully accepted myself and my sexuality. I've come out to about six people, four of them close friends. However, I still had trouble talking about the subject, and would often avoid it. The first couple of times that I came out I felt the need to make up an excuse for myself. I've come out to two people in the last three weeks. Instead of a paragraph and tears and apologizing for being bi, I told them in a single sentence, and did not apologize for myself once. Everyone has been so incredibly supportive, and Ive finally reached a point where, after two years, I can openly and freely declare that I am bisexual!! The most satisfying thing of all isn't other people accepting you, it's you full-heartedly embracing who you are.
