a mistake

    So i just got back from the bar, and needless to say i am pretty drunk, but i also just emailed a bunch of friends to tell them i am gay. Did i make a mistale? I tend to think i dont care bc all my family is supportive and i love that, and i dont care anymore, so i just did it. If this works out then i will be stoked, but if not, then oh well type thing. anyway, im just thinking outloud, and i hope i didnt just make a big mistake bc i was drunk...lol....PS. this dude at the bar was so hot, we caught eyes a coupl of times, but then i lost him...so sad :frowning2:

    I don't really think it's a mistake, as long as they're able to keep it themselves.(unless you don't want them to, that is)

    These are good friends, I hope? You don't really have to come out to every single person if you're not ready, it takes time. But if it works out, good job! I think it will anyway. :slight_smile:

    I don't think you've done a mistake. If they are friends they would be ok with it, if they are not ok, maybe you should not consider them as friends. Friends are people who should love you for who you are. And as you are now out to your family wich is great :thumbsup: , I think you can take the risk to be completly out.

    I really don't think its a mistake. It seems like you have progressed enough that you are ready to be fully out. Tell us how it goes!

    Sending a mail to tell them you're gay is probably not a mistake. You already have the support of quite a few important people in your life, so there's probably no point in putting it off further.

    Sending it while drunk... is not something I'd consider the best decision. In my experience, when I've drunk more than two glasses, I'm not always thinking straight (that is, in more ways than usual :lol:slight_smile: and less clear on how I put things.

    But hey, the important thing is that you did it!
