so i don't know if this counts as coming out, per se, as it wasn't to anyone that i know, BUT... ...today i went down to the local LGBT center and had an orientation/induction meeting with one of the youth counselors. that was officially the first time i have ever told another human being face to face that i'm not straight. after that they were having a 'young women's' discussion group so i went to that, too. over all it went pretty well and i think i'm going to be going back. there are some pretty cool people there that i'd really like to get to know. i'm back at home now, and i almost can't believe that i had the balls to go!
