Well this was rather sudden. He randomly started a conversation saying he wanted to ask me something, but he wouldn't ask when I told him to. Then he went "You can tell me anytihng whenever you want" which sorta gave it away, so then I really couldn't be bothered playing the whole hinting game so I just told him. Now he's moaning at me for not telling him sooner. How mean. :eek: He's reacted fab though so it looks like even more peeps are going to know now. (!)
That's great Martin! Sounds like a great friend you have there. How is your Dad doing? Is he still in denial?
Well we didn't really speak much over the 3 months (including my 18th) but he slowly started talking to me again around December. On Christmas day we practically had the first conversation since September, and since then he has just been talking to me like it was before we came out. It's still not much, but it no longer feels like he is avoiding me. I still don't think he has accepted it and is still in denial about it, but he hasn't kicked me out or made me life difficult or anything so I guess that's better than what others have received on here. I've done my part though, so tis up to him how he handles it. ^_^ But yeah, all is looking good.
lol My uncle was pissed everyone knew and he didn't. I just figured everyone knew/guessed. I don't know about you, but I was surprised by how many people reacted "Well, duuuuh" when they found out. And I thought I was being sneaky so well. heh
Another one bites the dust! So now there's only the road forward! It seems at least one suspected, so perhaps it won't come as a surprise to other friends either.
