So last night I spoke to my mother over the phone because I am a boarder at a private school so I don't see her every day. She called me in the afternoon and we talked for a while about school stuff and she asked me again about what I wanted to talk to her about. I told her I would talk to her when I was alone.

So I called her after I finished my homework and told her that I am Bi. I just said it straight up. "I am Bisexual". She took it really well saying stuff like "What ever feels right to you is right" and i was really happy. She also told me not to tell my grandparents, (they are massively homophobic) which i wasn't surprised about.

Then she told me that after she broke up with my father, she dated one of her really close female friends on and off for years. I almost lost my balance I was so surprised. So she is too i suppose! Funny how the world works.

Thanks guys, you really helped me make up my mind to tell her.

Yeah our parents have a lot more shit to say about it than we think, I think that's some shit that we need to get over. It will all be okay, I mean a shit ton of us have grandparents that are like that. I mean it's cool.

Congratulations Miakusulda! That took a lot of courage! I'm so happy that you're mom was accepting and supportive. Now you can be totally open and honest with her about your sexuality.
