I'm sure this has been done before but whatever! So here's mine. So I came out to my parents in the car, we were driving home and i told them I had something important to tell them and i just rambled on before bluntly saying, "i'm gay, well polysexual" and they completely accepted me. They asked a few questions and we talked about it for a bit but it was okay! Now for the more interesting story, coming out to my entire class (25 people) at once. We were working on a public policy project for history class and my group was focused on LGBT+ rights. So we had to do a slideshow (background: everyone in the group was LGBT) and somebody had the idea to put our flags at the end of the slide. My friend asked if she wanted to get the strait or the allie flag for me and i just said "nope, you'll see!" I pasted my flag on the slide. I explained it to the four in the group. We put our names on the flags so people knew which flag belonged to which person.
Congratulations, brookie! That was very brave of you! And I think the way that you Came Out to your class was very clever!
