When I was 14 I tried to come out as gay to my mom. It didn't go too well. Since she's around Kinsey 1, she has felt attracted to a few girls. She's also experimented with them. She considers herself straight, so she assumed I was a fellow Kinsey 1. Has anyone else had issues with Kinsey 1s?
I tend to not be the biggest fan of kinsey 1 women since a lot of them are just experimenting, and some even used my sexuality as an excuse to think they could get away with using me for that. I know they are not all the same, but I actually got better responses coming out to Kinsey 0 women. It's actually ironic, but the few "0's" I came out to understood my orientation better since they applied to themselves by understanding "they wouldn't want to touch a woman that way, so they get why I wouldn't want to touch a man". So yes, I have had worse luck with 1's.
