So today at school my best friend and I were asking each other dumb questions and I found the best moment to tell him. I told hime cause he is bi and I thought he wouldbe best to tell. Anyway, our convesation went a little like this: me:I got a question, what would you say if someone from our class said they were gay one day? him:idk depends on who it is So I named a random friend and he told me what he would say/do. Then I asked him if I said I was gay him:well I mean we're good friends so it would be kinda wierd me: yea I see what your saying *about 30 seconds later* me:in case you don't see what I'm getting at, I'm trying to say I am him:you are what? Wait you're saying your gay? me:yea himh *akward silence broken by another friend who(thank god)came running over and ended it* So yea thats my story of telling my best friend, I expected different but I can understand why he reacted the way he did.
Congratulations deepwaters7! That took a lot of courage. I'm glad he took it well. It sounds like he was kind of taken by surprise, but, then we never really KNOW how someone will react until we actually Come Out to them....
