I had my ears pierced. I bought some woman's clothes. I posted on facebook I'm genderfluid. I feel so me! And nobody minds! My best friend who is very Christian and who I have a crush on is talking to me normally after only a day acclimatising, and my mum is relaying discussions to me from her workplace tearoom about whether "they" or "ze" is a more sensible neutral pronoun, and my dad's girlfriend is offering me spare clothes and my aunt is giving me advice on earings. And none of my schoolfriends mind. I love our era. I mean I hate our era, but I love our era. Hate crimes, mass suicides, and my stepdad hugged me for the first time since I was about eight.
That is a pretty amazing few days. Wow. And your Dad's girlfriend is giving you hand-me-downs? Damn that's cool.
