To be continued

Well, I will be coming out to 2 friends tonight. In about 7-8 hours. My stomach is in knots and I'm not sure how I'm going to say it. But I figure if I post this here then I will force myself to tell them. I've been trying to figure out a way to tell them for the past few weeks. Last Friday I told one of them that I had something to tell everyone when we all got together. Tonight will be the first time we'll all be together, and I told her last night that I was going to tell them something tonight. So here goes nothing. The next few hours are either going to fly or creep by I fear.

 

Well, I just got back.

It took me 2 hours to tell them (until Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice were over). My roomie said I needed to hurry up so she could go to bed, and they all reacted and kinda went "Oh yeah! Tell us!" At that point I was kinda on the spot.

There were 6 of us in there. 2 already knew, 2 are going to be living in the apartment next year, and 1 is going to be in the apartment a lot. So I got pretty nervous, but then I said "I'm not exactly straight." I looked each of them in the eyes and asked if that was ok. They all nodded and said yes. I told them if they had any questions at any time they could ask me, that it didn't have to be at that exact moment.

Then we went on to joke about other stuff and got past the awkward silence.

They seemed to be fine; we'll see what questions arise in the future, but overall everything was great. Now atleast 16 people know. Woohoo. Next: family.
