    Hey guys (and gals...),

I just told my Mum about everything. Well, told probably isn't the right word to use in this situation. She kind of sat me down and interrogated me about everything, saying she was worried that i wasn't dating and asking lots of questions about girls. I knew something was up but i couldn't get out of it. In the end she asked me if i was gay, and i couldn't reply. After a little while i just said "i think i am..."

After that she was really incredibly supportive of me. She said heaps of nice things, and tried to make me feel better about it. She even asked me who it was that I liked. She said that i'm nothing like my genetic father (he is a transexual, i haven't seen him since i was about 5). Mum said that she'd talk to my stepdad about it, i'm not sure i could cope with another confrontation right now.

I'm gonig to stop writing... i'm shaking really bad.

    Kaleb.

PS: This link has a bit of stuff about my mums suspicions in it...

See kay hunni! I told you everything would be fine! Just calm down, go to sleep to stop shaking and try to get your mums helps in telling the others. I told you that she would be supportive of you, all the best.

I knew she would be supportive (*hug*)

Thats great! Now with your mother by your side, you can take on almost anything. Just remember she loves you and shes there for you and no matter how horrible things seem you will know that shes there for you.

Ow I'm jealous, I wish my mother would be as supportive of me (unless I want to be shipped off to boarding school telling her is out of the question at the mo).
But I'm really, really happy for you.

This story gave me the warm fuzzies. Really happy it went well for you. Congrats!

It's a strange transition to make between "I wonder if my parents will ever accept these feelings of mine" to "I'm allowed to be myself!". Enjoy it.
