Parents now know as of today, I had my sister tell them because I didn't want too. They took it alright but I will probably feel uncomfortable being around them for awhile. Told 1 friend of mine about 2 weeks ago and he was cool with it and it hasn't changed anything between us. Cant believe I have been coming out, half a year ago I never wanted to tell anyone. Feels good to be out to some people. I'll tell more soon hopefully
Congratulations on coming out to your parents, sister and to a friend! These are big steps....that's awesome. The awkwardness or uncomfortable feeling will disappear with time. As you become more comfortable with your family knowing, the less uncomfortable you will feel. Congrats!
That is great. Telling people can be hard, but it is so worth it in the end. It is a wonderful feeling!
