the last big hurdle

    well, i just got back from telling my parents. they took it really well. my mom asked when i figured it out.

    my mom said she knew since middle school when i never dated girls..moms, really, they know everything

    my dad said he knew...but he didnt know too.. it was weird he didnt know how to explain it but i kinda get it.

    they also asked me if i've had any relationships..and i told them, and my mom and sister knew him and they were both like, "oh he's so cute!"

    i still feel a little awkward about it, but its nothing big and im sure it will pass very quickly. its mostly because i had to tell my parents about my sexual preferences and sex life, a straight person would feel awkward about talking about this stuff with their parents.

    ahh, anyway, that was the most difficult and built up coming out and im so glad i've done it cause now i can tell the rest of the world (!) (and find a boyfriend :icon_wink)

    Glad to hear (read) things went so well. It can be a little odd talking to parents about sex life - I say look forward to the awkwardness avoided of "have you found a nice girl?" type questions. As for the reaction you got from your mom and sister about relationships, that just broke the awesom-o-meter.

    Congrats! Telling parents is the hardest. The awkwardness will go away fairly quickly.

    yeah thanks everyone, i honestly wish everyone was as lucky. and so do my wonderful parents.

    oh and update, i also updated my facebook status to say "i kissed a boy and i liked it" and set my interested in to men. :slight_smile: its all over now.
