Just got off the phone with my sister. Met her today for lunch. I was just about to tell her when the stupid waitress sat two bankers next to us. :bang: So this evening: Her: I just looked up this hotel on Hawaii it's sooo great.... Me: Aha.... Her: It has a really nice pool.... Me: Aha.... Her: .... and the rooms look really nice... Me: So, you remember the thing I wanted to tell you.... Her: Yes.... Me: Can you guess what it is? Her: Not really.... Me: Well do you remember the rumour about me in primary school....? Her: No bang::bang Me: You know the rumour about me and (name of male friend)... Her: Ah that.... Me: Yes.... What if I told you that it's not just a rumour now? (back then it was) Her: I really don't care about that. That's your business, as long as you're happy I'm fine with it... Me: Really? Her: Sure, just don't tell dad Me: Yeah, my plan is to tell him around 2048 (he'll be 100 then, and hopefully I won't have to tell him then) Her: (doing the math) ....That might be a little late... Me: Not really... Her: So what do you say about that hotel on Hawaii?? Me: It's nice Her: Just look at the pool.... Me: Why do I get the feeling that you're more interested in that hotel than in what I just told you? Her: That's not true.... Me: I'll just take that as a good sign Her: (talks some more about Hawaii...) Well, at least she's fine with it, hehe... and that hotel really looks great, haha
