I feel so awesome right now! I finally told my Mum that I'm gay a couple of nights ago, and I didn't get the reaction I expected. She kinda didn't seem surprised, which was nice. She just nodded and kinda smiled. I wasn't really worried about her knowing, I just didn't know how to tell her. I expected her to be a little less accepting though, but she hasn't been acting any different towards me. I did ask her not to tell my Dad yet though, because I don't know if I'm ready for him to know at the moment. I guess he's the next person I'll tell...
That's great. Telling the parents is a big dea - and I'm glad it went well. Hopefully your dad will be the same.
