Came out to my best friend

So, Monday I came out to my best friend (called Y).
I never told him because I didn't trust him enough.

I received an e-mail on Monday from my lover (T) telling me that we couldn't see each other anymore or contact each other and I was heartbroken.

And Y couldn't understand why I suddenly burst into tears at work, he's never ever seen me cry, so he knew something was up.

I needed someone to talk to and the other friends I'm out to either weren't available to talk to or don't like discussing that kind of stuff with me, and Y is my closest friend.

He's been very supportive and now tries to cut back on gay "themed" insults (a lot of French insults are about homosexuality), but I don't mind. He also told me he was curious but wasn't brave enough to try.

Since then things have gotten better with T and I'm closer to Y than ever before.(!)
