So, I went back to my old high school to see the marching band extravaganza, because my little brother is in it. And I bumped into an old school friend of mine, who'd come to see it too. She was openly bisexual in high school, which was awesome! We got talking, and after a while she asked, "So, how's your love life?" "Uhh, it isn't," I said. "Aw, why?" "Umm. There are... reasons." "Wait, am I missing something here?" "Well, I... haven't really been out on campus yet." And then she grinned at me, gave me a hug, and said, "Welcome to my world! It kinda sucks sometimes, but welcome!" So, that was sweet. =) I just felt like sharing!
