Hey - congratulations! That's brilliant news!

So are you out to everyone now, or are there still more to tell?

well, there's the rest of the school, but i'll let them find out on their own. there's just the rest of my family. I've only told a couple of cousins. they're ok with it also!^^ Just hope my tias and tios won't mind.

I don't think there is any point in telling the whole school. If your friends and those you are involved with regularly know that's good enough. Most of the others probably don't really know you anyway so knowing whether or not you're gay is irrelevant for them. Letting them figure it out for themselves is the best way, I think.

    What's "tias and tios"?

With family too, family members that you don't see from one year to the next really don't need to know either. There's no point. Those you see regularly or know well are the ones to tell if you can. Or maybe get other family members to tell (for example your cousins who know could tell their parents) as it's less of a big deal that way.

I like that - it sounds better than "aunts and uncles".

You could say that if the subject comes up in conversation they are free to tell them. That would probably relieve the stress on your cousins as they know they don't have to keep it secret, but they also don't have to say anything unless it seems appropriate.

That was the arrangement I had with my mum for various more distant family members, and I think it took nearly a year for the info to get around. But it did, with no dramas, which is fine.
