Tonight my best friend from high school called me. We have been playing phone tag for months. I have been busy with work and my bf. His wife had twins in February and before that his mother passed away after a long illness. So we talked a bit playing catch up. I told him how my brother is getting married and he asked about my parents and so on. Well moving forward, I told him that I have been dating someone. Then he asked what is is she like. I was like well I have to tell you something... He took it well. I knew he would. We both went to school with a friend who is gay and he has always been accepting and felt it was perfectly fine he is married. We talked some more about it. He asked about when I knew and so forth. He told me he was glad I came out to him that nothing has changed between us and hoped to meet my bf someday. He also told me that life is too short and he was glad I was happy. I am so happy right now. I wanted to tell him for ages but life sometimes gets in the way.
Aaah, nothing like an improper use of a pronoun to come out to someone Congrats! It would have been easy to chicken out, but you didnt, and that takes guts. You get a dancing Banana. (!)

Congratulations! Really happy for you. In my opinion, friends aren't truly friends until they know who you are really.
