I came out to one of my closer friends over Facebook message and his response almost made me cry. It is really simple and I feel like it probably only means anything to me, but I thought I would share it with you guys. He is the first straight boy I've told directly. I sent the message last night, he responded this morning and then invited me to lunch later. I am so proud of him. Incidentally, I have learned that "facebook out" doesn't necessarily mean "totally out." So, yeah. It continues.
Woah, he's an amazing friend. I wanna hug him and I don't even know him. Lol Congrats! Another step closer! =)
I know, right? I'm visiting home right now but as soon as I get back to school tomorrow I'll be giving him a huge hug. <3

We haven't been able to meet up yet, unfortunately. I am super busy with school this week, of course. I am hoping to see him later today... But things seem normal so far. Of course, we've only texted. I'm not too worried though. I'll let you all know how it goes!
Just got back from hanging out with him and it was awesome. We talked about all the usual stuff and every now and then he would ask about my being gay and it was just really awesome. My life is really good right now, guys.
