last night, I was at a gig in Glasgow (Porcupine Tree - was intense, listen to them ) and I'd arranged to stay over at my brother's flat afterwards (he's a student and lives there). I didn't really have any expectations for after the gig to be honest, but I ended up going to a party with my brother and his flatmates and getting a little bit on the drunk side of things, so I decided, in my drunken state, that now was the time for my brother to be in on my little secret. I wrangled myself some harmless looking girls from the party and talked to them about it, after first swearing them to secrecy, and they both agreed that I should tell him, get it done, so I shouted my brother over, and walked a little down the hall away from the party and said it. His response? "I don't keep my head in the sand, of course you're gay." so here's to awesome brothers tl;dr - alcohol induced confidence + awesome brothers = win.
