I've been working on a letter to send to my six friends from back home. I have been planning on letting them know before Christmas, and last night I felt that I had finished up the letter, that I couldn't really make it any more better. So yah, this morning I sent it out to each and every one of them. Lol, each time I pressed send, I couldn't help screaming inside my head  "WHAT AM I DOING!!! :***: AGGHHHH!!!!!!" while I would at the same time be preparing the next email to send out. I sent a freakout letter to my one best friend from back home who does know about me, and that helped to relieve a lot of stress. About four hours later while in the middle of an Organic Chemistry review, I started getting phone calls. I couldn't answer them at the time of course, and I couldn't leave the class - so queue partial panic attacks. :eusa_doh: Once I got back to my house though, I was able to return the calls. Two of my friends have gotten back to me so far by phone, and one of them has sent me an email message back. Everyone has been amazing! (!) I love too the response that I got from my friend who wrote the message. It's so amazing, and he manages to still be his hilarious self in it while pouring out his heart in support for me. I love my friends (*hug*) I can't wait to hear from the other three
Congrats man! And if it's not too personal, share a few responses (especially the hilarious one). It's always nice to read those
Here's my one friend's response, he's a really sarcastic person and has these funny ways of saying things which I think made it so funny for me reading through it. Just imagining the way he'd say all these things is what made me giggle, and the fact that I was overjoyed with his response may have had something to do with it too...
What an awesome response. I think more people should take human sexuality classes. It seems to have helped your friend gain insight and empathy.
That is a good response. Honestly, I believe strongly that it should be taught in High School. I had a humanities course...but there really should be an Anthropology course as well. I know the church groups would get their knickers in a knot, but seriously...we're still a part of humanity, and people should learn about us just as much as they learn about tribes in Africa.
congrats chaz! I'm glad you could gain the confidence to send them out! Other than telling another friend around like 5 am the other night i'v been WAYYYY too busy to even THINK about coming out to anyone, let alone sending the letter i wrote to my parents.
Finally! I've heard back from all of them all's good and now I just get to wait five days before I can go home and see them all
