I Finally Did It! Told my parents...

    So four months ago I wrote a letter to my parents but never sent it. Last night I decided to call them and forgo the letter because I at least wanted to tell them not have them read it. We talked for about 30 minutes and they were totally supportive. They were a little upset that I did not tell them in person but I will get to that later. Anyways I then sent them the letter I wrote and they loved the letter. This has been an awesome experience. To end it after telling them last night they called me back and said they wanted to see me. I am 23 and live halfway across the country from them. They are going on vacation and want to fly me to where they are staying to be with them next weekend. Whew glad this is over!

    Such great news! That's got to be a huge weight lifted from your shoulders, and I think you'll find that, over time, your connection to your parents will get a lot closer.
